There's a US-led invasion going on - of the UK's interactive TV industry, that is. Although the ramifications aren't perhaps as widespread as those connected to events elsewhere, the recent arrival of American iTV developers in the UK signals the beginning of a power struggle of huge significance to those involved.
Ensequence and WatchPoint Media are two US companies that have recently announced their arrival here, both offering the manna of easier iTV content creation, the killer app that puts interactivity firmly in the hands of programme makers.
